Choco, who I found near Devon Avenue, and she was very sick….I learned how to care for her, gave her antibiotics, and she eventually ended up getting released yeas later in Baton Rouge, in a beautiful sanctuary.

I have eight years of experience working with exotic pets, and am learning more with time and as the opportunities present themselves. The exotic pets I have cared for include:  rabbits, snakes, geckos, hamsters, turtles, bearded dragons, fish, a parrot and several parakeets. I have administered medication to a turtle, and I have hand fed a gecko who was recovering from surgery.
